Bandipur National Park is one of the all around saved
National Parks in India.Bandipur National Park set up in 1974 as a tiger hold
under Project Tiger, is a national stop situated in the south Indian territory
of Karnataka. It is situated in
Chamarajanagar locale on the outskirt of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu between
Mysore and Ooty. Bandipur National Park situated in Gundlipet taluq of
Chamrajnagar District. Nagarhole and Bandipur National Park are isolated by Kabini

Maharajas of Mysore. Bandipur is known

of the celebrated Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve alongside Nagarhole National Park,
Mudumalai National Park (12 Kms towards Ooty) and Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. It is home to around 70 tigers and more than
3000 Asian elephants, and also different creatures like panthers, dhole, gaur,
sloth bears, jackals and an assortment of birdlife. Gopalaswami Betta is the most elevated crest
in the Bandipur run.
